If you can't see any signals on HF most likely the receiver is switched to V/U. Occasionally the system might be off or switched to LW/MW and bandpass filtered so no signals are visible on the upper bands. Evening hours generally present a considerable amount of QRM. Online SDR will be disconnected if the station is operating on TX.
